Copywriting that makes a difference.
I paid my way through university writing appeal letters for Canadian charities that may have ended up in your mailbox. My writing has helped to raise millions of dollars for Canadian charities in the healthcare, religious, gender-based violence, and community relief spaces; supported municipal governments and large childcare providers; and powered multi-million-dollar capital campaigns.
Most recently, I have worked extensively on The United Church of Canada Foundation’s Centennial Legacy Campaign, launched in June 2025, that seeks to secure $25 million in declared legacy gifts to celebrate the denomination’s 100th birthday. You can read more here: centennialcampaign.ca
I am the primary writer for Steel Design Magazine, highlighting exciting and innovative uses of steel in North American construction. Some of my favourite articles include: It’s What’s on the Inside that Counts; Living Life to the Smallest; and Weathering Heights. I am also a contributing writer to the Hamilton Business Review. Selected articles: Five Lessons from Fero and Out for a Trip.
